Though I’m going to be in Arlington for ASTR while the kids put on this amazing musical about climate change, I got to help out as a “songwriter” for this round. The term is generous – Daniella had the whole song in her mind, but I was happy to wave my hands to help lead its first forays into the wider world. It’s exactly the kind of song I love to write – parts for everyone, light counterpoint, a little tag I can barely sing (but still made it into this preview video) and a glorious major-key modulation that you’ll just have to go see the show to hear for yourself.
